Capability scenario. This page describes what Aromiso can build for essential oil programmes targeting Amazon FBA and DTC channels. It is an illustrative example of our capabilities and typical specifications — not a record of a completed customer transaction or a specific client’s results.
The scenario
A US wellness startup selling aromatherapy products through Amazon and its own store wants to scale its essential oil range factory-direct, while meeting Amazon’s demanding logistics standards and US regulatory requirements. This is the kind of programme our Amazon FBA prep and compliance support is designed for.
Challenges we help address
Amazon FBA compliance. Amazon rejects inbound shipments for small infractions — barcode placement, missing suffocation warnings on poly bags, carton weight limits, or content sheets that do not match the shipment. We handle FBA prep to those requirements so shipments are received cleanly.
US regulatory requirements. Essential oils sold in the US fall under TSCA and, when marketed for aromatherapy/wellness, attract FDA cosmetic labelling rules. Each SKU needs a compliant label (INCI ingredients, dual-unit net content, distributor address, allergen declarations), and California Prop 65 warnings where applicable.
Batch traceability. Where a listing claims tested purity, a batch-specific GC/MS report — with the batch number matching the label — lets customers verify authenticity. We can arrange this through an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory.
What we can do
- Range development. We build a range across tiers — single oils, blends, starter gift sets, and seasonal editions — with a specification sheet for each, referencing applicable purity standards (for example ISO 3515/3516/3518).
- Regulatory package. FDA-compliant label artwork, a TSCA inventory confirmation letter, 16-section GHS-format SDS for each oil, Prop 65 warnings where applicable, and a cosmetic product notification template for MoCRA.
- GC/MS testing. Production batches can be sampled and analysed by an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, cross-referenced to the batch number on each bottle, with an optional QR code linking to the batch report.
- Amazon FBA prep. FNSKU barcode labelling, poly bags with suffocation warnings, “sold as set” labels, carton content sheets in Seller Central format, and cartons kept within FBA weight limits.
- Shipping. Air and/or ocean routing to your FBA destination, chosen to match your timeline and volume.

What this means for you
Selling essential oils on Amazon is a logistics and compliance challenge as much as a product one. The brands that avoid costly delays are the ones whose shipments are not rejected, whose labels do not trigger compliance complaints, and whose “purity tested” claims are backed by batch-specific evidence. We built our FBA prep service to address exactly those failure points. Share your target SKUs, volume, and FBA destination and we will prepare a proposal with MOQ, lead time, and the documentation and testing we can provide.
